# Framework recommendations

The Universal DPI Safeguards Framework sets out recommendations mapped to responsible authorities, life cycle stages, principles and risks. This page makes them browsable here, so you can scan and search them without leaving the Hub.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Being prepared.** The recommendations data is being brought onto the Hub in a directly browsable form. Until it lands here, the full set is explorable through the interactive Framework.

## How to use the recommendations

Each recommendation answers a practical question: given who you are and where you are in the DPI life cycle, what should you actually do? Filter to your responsible authority and your current stage first, then read across the principles that apply.

If you are measuring whether a recommendation has taken effect, pair it with the [Indicator Library](/resources-hub/implement-safeguards/indicator-library.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://dpisafeguards.gitbook.io/resources-hub/implement-safeguards/framework-recommendations.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
